*Fully Licensed Clinical Supervisor: $175 / 50-minute sessions
*Fully Licensed Clinicians: $160 / 50-minute sessions
*Associate Clinicians: $135 / 50-minute sessions
*Therapists-In-Training: $50 / 50-minute sessions
*Your clinician may be able to offer lower-cost rates based upon financial need. You may discuss this with your clinician or member of our admin team when you have your initial consultation call.

We have clinicians in-network with:
Optum, Aetna, Moda, Sana, and United Behavioral Health.
Additionally, we accept:
Ulliance EAP, Quest Behavioral Health, and M&S EAP.
If your desired clinician does not accept your insurance or you would prefer to pay out of pocket, all fully licensed and associate therapists can provide what’s called a “Superbill” at the end of each month.
You’re more than welcome to submit this document directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement or to meet your deductible, depending on your plan’s out of network benefits.

Autonomy Therapy does not accept insurance for couples and family therapy. All services involving relationship-focused work (conjoint therapy) will be billed as Self-Pay at the therapist’s standard rate or sliding scale.
Health insurance is designed to cover the treatment of medical and mental health conditions, such as anxiety or depression, which affect an individual. Health insurance plans typically exclude relational therapy because it focuses on relationship dynamics, like communication or conflict resolution, rather than a diagnosable medical condition affecting a single individual.

We get it, most folks who have insurance want to use it! It can be challenging to find a specialized provider who is in-network with insurance, so we like to offer a few options if paying without insurance seems daunting:

Absolutely, please mention this in your initial consultation call, and your therapist will be sure to share the appropriate paperwork with you.

Yes, yes, yes! We love being able to touch base with providers who played an integral role in our clients’ growth and wellbeing. Let your provider know you’d like them to speak with your previous therapist, and they’ll send over the necessary paperwork to make it happen.

Please note that at this time, our clinicians are not working with kids younger than 6 years old.

Absolutely. Our practice prioritizes inclusivity and affirms the identities and experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals. We strive to create a space where all clients feel seen, respected, and supported.

All of our therapists are able to offer both virtual and in-person sessions depending on availability (you can read more about online counseling HERE).
Whichever is your preference, please let us know when scheduling your initial session so we can do our best to accommodate.

All mental health records requests must be submitted in writing, as required by Texas law.

Include your full name, date of birth, your therapist’s name, and the specific records you are requesting.
Can my records be sent to another provider or organization?
Yes. To release records to a third party, a signed Release of Information form is required before we can share any information.
Are there fees for records requests?
There may be a fee for records requests and document preparation, as permitted by law. Your provider can confirm whether fees apply.
What if records are requested for legal purposes?
A subpoena alone does not permit the release of confidential counseling or billing records under HIPAA. Records may only be disclosed with a valid court order or a properly executed Authorization from the client or parent or legal guardian.

What if consent has been declined?
If the client or parent has not consented to release of records, a Statement of Assurance will not be accepted. A valid Authorization or Court Order is required.
