Say Hello to Autonomy Therapist Caitlin Diamond (she/they)

LPC-Associate

Supervised by: Julie Burke, LPC-S

Clinical therapist

For so many of us, life is a tangle of beauty and pain. Sometimes it can be tempting to push ourselves toward perfection to avoid what hurts, but I believe what we actually need is to slow down and gently build safety in our bodies. As your therapist, I trust your process and what your system needs, and my hope is that my trust in you will help you build trust in yourself. I don’t have an agenda to “fix” what is “wrong” with my clients. Instead, I am honored to sit with you in the mess, and create a comforting space to feel it all.

I am an LPC Associate dedicated to supporting those with concerns around complex trauma, body image, disordered eating, and identity exploration. My approach is rooted in compassion and equity, drawing from relational-cultural and humanistic frameworks to foster healing and autonomy in my clients.

Complex trauma and CPTSD are particular areas of care for me. This motivates me to create a therapeutic space that is highly relational and prioritizes both your felt sense of safety and also your consent throughout the process of therapy. My intention is to build an environment in which your voice matters, and secure attachment can flourish over time. Therapy-seekers are resilient to the core, and I am proud to support you in the process of moving toward post-traumatic growth.

I also work from a body liberation and Health at Every Size framework, which means that I view bodies as inherently trustworthy and valuable exactly as they are, and I emphasize that all body sizes are worthy of dignity and respect. I also know that our relationships to health are very individualized, and health is not accessible to everyone in the same way. In our work together, I will strive to honor what your body needs and what your version of mental, emotional, and physical health looks like.

In therapy with me, I want your authentic self to feel welcome and affirmed. I am committed to creating a calming and supportive space for you to explore what it means to build safety in your mind, body, and soul. I hope you can give yourself a pat on the back for taking this first step, because you deserve it!
