Say hello to Autonomy Therapist Haylie Hill (She/Her)
LPC
Clinical Therapist
Often in life we can feel overwhelmed and in the overwhelm we can turn to unhealthy coping strategies to feel safe. What was supposed to just be a one time way to cope quickly turns into a daily practice that now feels paralyzing and you aren't sure how to stop. A lot of the clients I work with struggle to break these unhealthy patterns of coping and implement more adaptive ways to manage their struggles. I come alongside each of my clients to help them unpack the overwhelm and get to a place where they can access healthier ways to cope.
I practice from a person centered and relational approach, utilizing what you bring to session to connect back to the goals that we set together at the start of therapy. I incorporate a mixture of CBT, DBT, narrative, parts work, and EMDR to challenge and push you to think deeper about the things you bring to counseling and find new meaning.
I am a firm believer that you are the expert in the room on yourself and your experience. It is my job to help you uncover things that have been suppressed, avoided or forgotten about and to walk alongside you as you embark on this journey to a more authentic version of yourself.
I am passionate about helping you reach the goals that you have for yourself and am excited to meet you where you are and go through this process together.
