Say hello to Autonomy Therapist Kim Fry (She/Her)

M.S., LMFT-S, EMDR-Trained, NARM-Informed Professional

NASM CPT

Founder, Therapist

Life is full of chapters, each shaped by the stories we carry about ourselves, our bodies, and our place in the world. But often, these stories aren’t ours to begin with — they’re influenced by others' expectations, societal pressures, and past experiences that we didn’t consciously choose. If you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of where to go next, you’re not alone. My goal is to help you rewrite those stories, reconnect with your authentic self, and step into a life that feels aligned with who you truly are.

I work collaboratively with my clients, meeting you exactly where you are. Together, we’ll explore the beliefs and patterns that are keeping you stuck — whether you’re grappling with body image struggles, navigating a life transition, building resilience, or working to break free from old ways of thinking. My approach is grounded in a mix of trauma-informed models, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), NARM, EMDR, and Attachment-Focused Therapy. These modalities help us understand and heal the underlying dynamics that influence how we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate challenges.

In our work together, I’ll help you untangle those deeper layers — the internal voices that may be holding you back — while offering tools and support that allow you to grow, heal, and thrive. Whether you’re struggling with trauma, eating disorders, body image issues, self-esteem, or the impact of diet culture, I’ll work with you to build a more connected, compassionate relationship with yourself. I also enjoy working with clients who are using GLP-1 medications from a weight-inclusive perspective, supporting your journey with care and without judgment.

I believe healing is identifying and nurturing the neglected parts of you and learning new strategies for taking care of them. I combine authentic validation, psychoeducation, and practical resources (both in and outside of sessions) to help you build resilience, trust in yourself, and reclaim your personal power. Healing is a journey, and wherever you’re starting from, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
