Say hello to Autonomy Therapist Isabel Keogh (She/Her)

Do you find yourself feeling stuck and disconnected from yourself? Do you find yourself constantly prioritizing others over yourself? Do you sometimes wonder who you are and what you want?

As we navigate life, we learn to make sense of our experiences by constructing narratives about who we are. Sometimes, the way we learn to understand our experiences results in low self esteem, anxiety, depression, or challenges in relationships.

My intention when working with you is to build a strong therapeutic relationship. I recognize that it is my responsibility, as your therapist, to earn your trust and provide a safe, nonjudgemental environment. Therapy is not only a place for us to navigate some of life’s harder challenges, but a place to celebrate yourself. Through our work together we will cultivate greater insight and identify what matters most to you. We will focus on understanding your relationship with yourself and determine what steps to take in order to create greater connection to your authentic self.

My specialties are working with clients struggling with anxiety, low self esteem, complex trauma, body image issues, disordered eating, depression, and life transitions. I incorporate person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, relational-cultural theory, and mindfulness-based techniques into my work with clients. I see both adults and adolescents ages 15+.

Starting therapy can be an empowering step and an intimidating one. I am passionate about creating an inclusive and welcoming space where you can be vulnerable and heard. My intention is to uplift all clients by helping them to understand themselves, learn self-compassion, and develop new skills. If you feel ready to begin, I look forward to working with you at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
