Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, we hire with the intent to build a clinician up to full-time. For us, that means 20-25 billable clinical hours weekly. If someone is a great fit, but only wants to work part-time (15-17 billable hours), they can reach out to us directly to ask about options. Please email hello@autonomytherapyatx.com for more info!

  • Yes! We offer an annual education stipend, 401k to all clinicians, and medical benefits (or a wellness stipend) and PTO to full time clinicians. We also offer an onboarding stipend, pay for EMDR-training upfront for all clinicians as they build their caseloads, cover the cost of malpractice insurance, offer monthly education events, and biweekly consultation.

  • If you want to, you’re welcome to. That said, we do have a Client Care Coordinator who can schedule clients on your behalf, and a Practice Manager to support with administrative logistics and billing.

  • Not unless you want to! All offices are furnished and decorated to create a warm and welcoming environment for your clients. That said, we do also encourage clinicians to decorate their offices however they feel represent “them” as individuals.

  • The feedback we hear most often is that we’ve created a truly supportive and connected community. Our therapists describe the environment as one where they feel seen, valued, and encouraged to grow, both personally and professionally.

We prioritize collaboration over competition, authentic connection over achievement, and willingness to grow over perfectionism. Whether it’s through team consultation, intentionally curated social events, or celebrating each other’s wins, we believe that the relationships between therapists are just as important as the ones we build with our clients.
