Say hello to Autonomy Therapist Beth Marshall (She/Her)

LPC-Associate

Supervised by: Marjorie O'Connor, MPsy., LPC-S, LCDC

Clinical therapist

Are you feeling the weight of anxiety, burnout, or that constant inner pressure to “keep it all together”? Maybe you’ve been the go-to person for everyone else—whether at work, at home, or in your relationships—and you’re realizing it’s time to make some space for you. If so, welcome. Reaching out for support takes courage, and I’m honored to meet you where you are.

I’m an LPC-Associate who works from a person-centered lens, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), existential therapy, and somatic practices. I’m also EMDR-informed, integrating trauma-informed approaches to help clients process experiences and reconnect with a sense of calm and clarity.

I’m passionate about supporting clients through anxiety, depression, disordered eating, body image concerns, grief, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, grounded in deep respect for every part of your experience. I also strive to create a space where LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients feel genuinely seen, safe, and celebrated.

Rather than rushing to reframe or “fix” what’s painful, I invite curiosity toward your inner world—toward the parts of you that may be tired, protective, or longing to be understood. Together, we’ll bring these experiences into the open, explore the stories they carry, and gently unburden what no longer serves you.

I love working with nurses, teachers, and eldest daughters—the ones who tend to hold everything together for everyone else. I also specialize in men’s issues, creating space to explore vulnerability, identity, and connection in ways that feel authentic and empowering. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a reporter and copy editor for local newspapers across Texas, so journalists will always hold a special place in my heart. I also enjoy working with individuals raised in single-parent households or those exploring their spiritual identity. Does this sound like you? Schedule a free consultation call with me today.

I see adults and adolescents (12+) in a supportive, nonjudgmental space designed for real conversations and lasting growth.

Outside the office, you’ll find me at concerts, checking out new food and drink spots in Austin, planning my next trip, and soaking up time with my favorite people (and pets).
