Workout From Home With These Affordable Prop Swaps

Author: Kim Fry, LMFT-S, NASM CPT

With COVID-19, most of us haven’t been able to exercise (or teach, if you’re an instructor) at our usual gyms or studios. This means that - if you’re trying to save a few bucks during the holiday season - you’re having to hunt for creative ways to turn everyday household items into functional props at home.

Most of us don’t have 5 different pairs of dumbbells or a Pilates Ball hanging out in our living rooms, and new equipment can rack up monthly bills prettttty quickly. The good news is that there are plenty of props lying around your house you may not even know about!

The next time you (or your clients, if you’re an instructor) are in need of a prop, I highly recommend trying these easy and affordable swaps!
