Meet Shannon Hafterson

M.A., LPC

Practice Manager

Pronouns: She/Her

Welcome! I’m so glad you’ve found Autonomy Therapy!

I joined Autonomy as our first Clinical Therapist in January 2020. I’ve witnessed the practice’s growth since then, and in 2022 was promoted into leadership. As the Director of Clinician Operations, I handle a lot of what goes on behind the scenes, including recruiting, hiring, & onboarding new staff, providing clinician & administrative support, assisting with client care, marketing, networking, and community outreach.

I believe mental health is essential to wellbeing. I’ve been on both sides of the couch, as therapist and client, and have found that a supportive, non-judgmental space to process life’s challenges is invaluable for healing and growth. I am passionate about destigmatizing mental health care and am honored to support Autonomy Therapy’s vision, values, and people!

One of the best parts of my job is getting to connect with other health and mental health professionals. If you would like to schedule an informational meeting to learn more about our services, please contact me by email or phone.
