Say hello to Autonomy Therapist Millie Galvin (She/Her)

Clinical Therapist
Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here.
Reaching out for help takes courage. It can be a difficult step, and I want to honor that. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, grief, complex trauma, or a major life transition, therapy can be a place to slow down, get honest, and build a more intentional relationship with yourself.
I work with children ages 8 and up, adolescents, and adults across all stages of life. I am affirming and welcoming of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and relationship structures. Though I always welcome any issue or topic that surfaces, I specialize in working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, men’s issues, grief, complex trauma, and generational family trauma. I take an integrative approach, drawing from person-centered, emotion-focused, and attachment-informed modalities to help you identify patterns, understand how past experiences shape the present, and create practical, values-aligned change.
My therapeutic style is warm, direct, and attuned. I believe healing happens when compassion and responsibility coexist, and when clients are met as capable, resilient people, not problems to be fixed.
Outside the office, you’ll usually find me elbow-deep in one of my many crafty hobbies, trying to keep up with my dog Hank, or soaking up the Central Texas sun. I value authenticity in this work and show up as my full self, with the hope that you feel empowered to do the same.
I’m currently accepting new clients, reach out today!
