St. Edward’s Graduate Student

Therapist in training

Getting help often feels challenging and uncomfortably vulnerable. If you’re seeking a therapist, finding the right person to support the work you do for your mental health is very important. As a therapist, I honor and respect that vulnerability by creating a space for it that is kind, private, and safe. I hope that you and I can step into that space together so that you can share your difficult thoughts and feelings with someone who cares.

I am a Master’s level student clinician completing my education at St. Edward’s University. I have proudly worked with children and adults on issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, interpersonal communication, and acceptance of the human condition. I find sincere personal satisfaction in building a professional relationship with anyone who is concerned about their mental health and overall wellbeing.

I tend to practice therapy from a perspective of Existential Humanism and use elements of Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This means I focus on dynamics of control, personal meaning, and authenticity in the face of the suffering that life presents to us while also challenging unhelpful beliefs and cultural influences. My view is that we are all unique people who share significant universal experiences which allow us to connect to each other despite differences in our stories. Outside of collaborating on this healing connection, I aim to provide skilled reflection of what I notice in our time together to help you develop valuable self-knowledge. In my time away from work, I like to spend my time joking around with loved ones or enjoying my own company while having a warm mug of tea.
