I have insurance, can I use that for therapy?
If your desired clinician does not accept your insurance or you would prefer to pay out of pocket to avoid a long waitlist, all fully licensed and associate therapists can provide what’s called a “Superbill” at the end of each month. You’re more than welcome to submit this document directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement or to meet your deductible, depending on your plan’s out of network benefits.
Not interested in submitting superbills? Check out REIMBURSIFY – they’ll handle the whole claim submission process from start to finish on your behalf, AND the first claim they submit for you is free!
I don't know that I want to work with a therapist who isn't in-network with my insurance, now what?
We get it, most folks who have insurance want to use it! It can be challenging to find a specialized provider who is in-network with insurance, so we like to offer a few options if paying without insurance seems daunting:

- Check out a tool like REIMBURSIFY – they make the the claim submission process incredibly simple, and your first submitted claim is FREE!

I have other providers (i.e. psychiatrist, dietitian) can my therapist talk to them about my history?
Absolutely, please mention this in your initial consultation call, and your therapist will be sure to share the appropriate paperwork with you.
I saw a therapist I loved years ago, can my new therapist connect with them, too?
Do Autonomy therapists work with children or teens?
They sure do! In fact, we have multiple clinicians who work with children and teens. Please review our clinicians’ bios to see who might be the best fit (make sure you click on the “Learn More” button underneath their pictures to read the full bios)!
Can my therapist offer virtual therapy?
Whichever is your preference, please let us know when scheduling your initial session so we can do our best to accommodate.
